We are thrilled to recognize and award four outstanding high school Seniors We can’t wait to see what their futures will hold. The RIPA Scholarship launched in June of 2017 giving children or dependents of RIPA employees the opportunity to apply for a one year scholarship for $2,500 towards an accredited college or university for the upcoming semester. Nya Penon
Nya Penon will attend the University of South Florida in the Fall of 2021 to earn a Bachelors Degree. She plans to become a nurse practitioner with long term goals of becoming a traveling nurse. Nya is the daughter of Nicole Penon who join RIPA in 2021 as a Concrete Dispatcher.
Josh Pitre
Joshua Pitre will attend the University of Central Florida in the Fall of 2021 to earn a Bachelors Degree in Biology, followed by attending dental school to achieve a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Joshua is the son of Joe Pitre who has been the CFO at RIPA since 2013.
Krista Guajardo
Krista Guajardo will attend Florida Atlantic University in the Fall of 2021. She plans to study Sports Medicine, which will require several courses in science and medicine. Krista is the daughter of Christobal Guajardo who has been a part of Team RIPA as a Box Blade Operator since 2010.
Kristin Boone
Kristin Boone will attend St. Petersburg College for 2 years followed by transferring to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Kristin is interested in pharmacy. Kristin is the daughter of Tim Boone who is a FAC Superintendent and has been a part of the team since inception in 2018.
