A Bit About Us

RIPA & Associates is a leader in civil and utility construction services in Central Florida. Since being founded in 1998 by Frank Ripa, the company has been consistently ranked in the Top 100 Private Companies in the Tampa Bay area. Frank & Jackie Ripa’s leadership and guidance in the early days established a culture of hard work, attention to detail and first-rate customer care. Now with over 900 employees, RIPA & Associates is a major force in the construction market, yet still retains the same culture that has made us flourish.


The continued success of RIPA as a site contractor stems from our highly experienced and educated field management team. This core of project managers and superintendents drives the engine that generates top-notch quality and production while providing superior customer care. Clients include land developers, government agencies, home builders and private corporations.


RIPA & Associates employees are active in professional organizations like the NUCA, SUCA, Associated Builders & Contractors, The Florida Transportation Builders’ Association, TBBA, American Society of Professional Estimators, the Society for Human Resource Management and HR Tampa.


Giving back to the community has always been a priority for us and we have been active with Tampa Pig Jig benefiting the NephCure Foundation,  Make-A-Wish® Central & Northern Florida, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and many other worthwhile charities.


Guided by senior management of Frank Ripa (CEO) and Chris LaFace (President), RIPA & Associates has developed leaders in all divisions of the company. This core of department heads, foremen and superintendents continue to keep RIPA on a path of sustainable growth in sales and employment. This guidance has opened the doors for innovation in logistics, workplace efficiency and additional services and products.


RIPA’s administrative and support services provide a framework to keep business running smoothly. From Fleet Management’s coordination and maintenance, to Human Resources’ employee oversight and Accounting’s cash management, all combine to strengthen the infrastructure of a vibrant and growing company.
