RIPA & Associates started work on the new Publix project at SouthShore Villiage in Ruskin this past December 2015. We are a subcontractor to Hawkins Construction who is the G/C for the job, and whom we are working with on another Publix at Rivercrest Commons in Riverview.
RIPA is providing all clearing, grading, underground utilities, concrete and asphalt paving. Located at 19th Avenue and U.S. Highway 41, it will service the growing population in the SouthShore area, which includes Ruskin and Apollo Beach. There is over 106K cubic yards of fill required, as well as area road improvements to include: turn lanes, signalization, sidewalks and 180′ of a five foot wide boardwalk. The Publix supermarket will have 46,000 sf and there will be additional retail space of over 36,000 sf.
