RIPA & Associates provide dream opportunity to local boy fighting cancer
Owen moved to Florida from Ohio when he was 2 years old. When he saw his new pediatrician, the doctor was concerned about some bruising Owen was experiencing. Blood work was ordered, and the diagnosis was B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Owen is set to complete his treatment in late 2022 .
We will also be sponsoring Owen to participate in the upcoming “Fashion Funds the Cure” events in Sarasota on September 9th and St. Petersburg on October 15.
September is #NationalChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonthin the U.S. to bring awareness to pediatric cancer. NPCF’s main mission is funding research to eliminate childhood cancer. “With September being national pediatric cancer awareness month, this is a wonderful story to share and let America know that more research needs to occur,” said Dave Frazer, CEO of NPCF. “Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer.
