Any senior high school student who is a child, grandchild or legal dependent of a current RIPA, FAC or CTB employee, and who will be enrolling in an accredited college, university or Trade School for the year beginning in August may apply for a $2,500 scholarship for one year. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the Scholarship Committee based on the general worthiness of the application.

If selected as a finalist by the Committee, you may be required to attend a pre-selection, in-person interview at the RIPA office on a date selected by the Committee. If selected as one of the recipients, you MUST attend the RIPA Scholarship Awards ceremony to receive your award.

RIPA Scholarship applications are open and being accepted through Friday, May 1, 2026.

Please email all completed applications along with your high school transcripts and at least one Senior Photo to: MFurey@ripaconstruction.com

The Committee will consider:

(l) Scholastic standing
(2) ACT and/or SAT scores
(3) Extracurricular activities
(4) Career goals
(5) Past employment
(6) Essay
(7) Thoroughness of the completed application

RIPA is a member of several organizations within the construction industry, and throughout the Tampa Bay community. These associations permit all RIPA/FAC/CTB high school graduating seniors to apply for their scholarships to be used toward college or trade school tuition.
