Advent Health Riverview is a 4-story, 209,000 sq ft full-service hospital commercial construction project. The hospital will provide emergency services, cardiology, obstetrics, gynecology, labor and delivery, orthopedic, gastroenterology, and urology services. In phase 1, the hospital will open with 80 beds, but additional building space allows for expansion to a 200-bed facility to meet the Riverview Communities’ growing needs. RIPA has laid the groundwork for this amazing building! The project consists of importing almost 200,000 cubic yards of structural fill to construct the site & building pad, installing over 15,000 LF of Utilities (sanitary, storm, water & fire distribution) and asphalt (for the hospital’s parking area). City Furniture is a commercial distribution project in Plant City. 65 acre site with approx. 1,300,000 SF distribution warehouse and showroom, 250,000 of excavation and embankment, 7200 LF of drainage pipe, 150,000 SF underground storm retention vault system, 1200 LF of sanitary sewer with private lift station, 10,000 Lf of pressure pipe including domestic water, fire, reclaim and force main. This project also consists of 125,000 SY of asphalt and concrete parking lots and offsite Improvements along the I-4 south frontage road.
In July 2020, ground broke at Project Harney; the future Amazon fulfillment center located off Harney Road and U.S. 301 in Temple Terrace, Florida. This project will be RIPA’s 5th Amazon project completed within the last several years. The scope of work includes earthwork, utilities, and roadways, in addition to a lift station and fiberglass wet well.
The Amazon Fulfillment Center was completed in October 2021.
RIPA began construction on the Kirkland Ranch Academy project in August 2020. It is now completed and opened for the Fall 2022 school year. Kirkland Ranch Academy is located on over 50 acres in the Wesley Chapel/San Antonio area and is a Pasco County High School focusing on Career and Technical Education. This project included full site development and offsite improvements to Curley Road with traffic signal installation.
Sumner High School is located at 10650 County Road 672 in Riverview, Florida. RIPA is excited to be a part of the civil and utility development on this project. The new school will be designed with more than 238,000 square feet and enrollment for close to 3,000 students. The school will cost an estimated $70 million to build and will be the biggest high school opened in the history of Hillsborough County Schools.
Amazon’s Final Mile Distribution Center is in Sarasota County in Venice, Florida along Commerce Drive near Interstate 75, and Jacaranda Boulevard. Amazon calls it a Last Mile Distribution Center because it is the last stop between a fulfillment center and your house. This warehouse is a part of Amazon’s distribution strategy to keep up with fast-paced shipping.
The 120,000 square-foot fulfillment center is essential to Amazon’s strategy and will serve as the place where small quantities of product that are offered as “same day delivery or in high demand”. RIPA’s scope includes site excavation, import fill, concrete base, storm sewer pipe.
The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County is in Wesley Chapel, Florida north of 2663 Lajuana Boulevard. The state-of-the-art 98,000+ square foot sports center will feature eight bio-cushioned hardwood regulation courts that can be utilized for various activities.
RIPA project scope includes pond excavation, sanitary force main, storm, water, reclaim, curbing and asphalt work on-site. The site will have over 130,000 cubic yards of site excavation, in addition to over 23,000 linear feet of pipe installed. A 13,000 linear feet of curb was installed in addition to 25,000 square yards of asphalt pavement.
