Amazons Last Mile Distribution Center

Amazon’s Final Mile Distribution Center is in Sarasota County in Venice, Florida along Commerce Drive near Interstate 75, and Jacaranda Boulevard. Amazon calls it a Last Mile Distribution Center because it is the last stop between a fulfillment center and your house. This warehouse is a part of Amazon’s distribution strategy to keep up with fast-paced shipping.

The 120,000 square-foot fulfillment center is essential to Amazon’s strategy and will serve as the place where small quantities of product that are offered as “same day delivery or in high demand”. RIPA’s scope includes site excavation, import fill, concrete base, storm sewer pipe.

The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County

The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County is in Wesley Chapel, Florida north of 2663 Lajuana Boulevard. The state-of-the-art 98,000+ square foot sports center will feature eight bio-cushioned hardwood regulation courts that can be utilized for various activities.

Venice Woodlands

Venice Woodlands is conveniently located 4.5 miles from the new RIPA office in North Venice, Florida. This project will be developed into 263 lot subdivision on the 151-acre site. Meritage Homes, the property owner contacted RIPA to fast track the project to completion.

Due to the heavy vegetation and high ground water this project was difficult on the front end. Venice Woodlands is the furthest south project for RIPA. This project supports the expansion of RIPA to opening the second office in the southern region

Cypress Mill

Cypress Mill is a master-planned community located in Ruskin, Florida. This fast track project included the installation of two lift stations with over one million CY of dirt moved, and over 7 miles of utilities were installed.

In addition, Cypress Mill had large scale off-site lane widening and two new traffic signals added to the entrance of the development. Lennar Homes is the land owner and Clearview Land Development is the engineer that RIPA worked with to complete the project on time and on budget

Aprile Farms

Aprile Farms is a mixed-use development site on approximately 36 acres of land. Located at U.S. 301 and I-4 in Hillsborough County, this project required the cooperation of many municipalities in order to get the project completed on time and budget. Utility work along U.S. 301 required coordination with the City of Tampa, Florida Department of Transportation and Hillsborough County, all of which owned or operated facilities on right of ways in the work area.

Difficult soil and groundwater conditions were cause for concern and dictated the earthwork operations. Due to the loading requirements of large industrial buildings, RIPA contracted Hayward Baker to perform soil improvements. RIPA is contracted under the GC, Conlan Company, and is expected to complete the project in June of 2019.

Costco At Citrus Park
